Trumpet Restaurant Branding
Where Food Meets Music Through Creative Branding
A restaurant is more than a place to enjoy a meal. It is an experience shaped by its atmosphere, identity and the little details guests remember.
For Trumpet Restaurant, Brij Design Studio developed a distinctive restaurant branding concept inspired by the connection between music and food. The project centred on creating a unique logo, designing the restaurant menu card and developing internal branding elements that carried the visual identity into the dining space.
The trumpet became the central inspiration for the logo, bringing together the expressive character of music and the welcoming spirit of dining. From the restaurant's visual signature to its menu and interior branding, the objective was to create a cohesive identity that gave Trumpet its own recognisable personality.

01
The Identity
Creating a Distinctive Identity for Trumpet Restaurant
Every restaurant has a story to tell. The challenge is to translate that story into a visual identity that communicates its personality before guests even explore the menu.
For Trumpet Restaurant, our creative direction began with the idea of connecting two experiences: music and food. We explored how the trumpet, an expressive musical instrument, could become a distinctive symbol for the restaurant's identity.
The concept was developed to balance character, elegance and a playful spirit. Bold colours, considered typography and a stylised trumpet graphic helped shape a visual direction that could extend beyond the logo.
Our approach focused on building more than an individual design asset. We wanted the logo, menu card and internal branding elements to feel like connected parts of the same restaurant brand.

Restaurant Logo Design Inspired by Music
A restaurant logo is often the first visual introduction to a dining brand. It needs to be distinctive, easy to recognise and relevant to the atmosphere the restaurant wants to communicate.
For Trumpet Restaurant, we explored the trumpet as the central visual idea, using it to connect the restaurant's name with the expressive world of music. The design concept brought together a stylised trumpet and visual cues associated with dining, creating a logo direction with its own personality.
Typography and contrasting colours helped strengthen the identity while supporting a lively, contemporary appearance. The intention was to develop a mark that could work across the restaurant's different branding applications.
The result is a creative approach to restaurant logo design, where a familiar musical instrument becomes the foundation for a memorable visual identity.

Menu Card
Restaurant Menu Card Design
A menu card is one of the most important printed touchpoints in a restaurant. It introduces the food offering while giving guests another opportunity to experience the brand's visual identity.
For Trumpet Restaurant, the menu card was developed as part of the wider branding project. Rather than treating it as a separate printed document, we considered how its design could complement the logo and the restaurant's overall visual direction.
Typography, layout and graphic styling play an important role in making a menu visually engaging and easy to navigate. A well-organised menu should allow guests to explore the available dishes while maintaining a consistent connection with the restaurant's identity.
By carrying the branding into the menu card, Brij Design Studio helped connect the restaurant's visual personality with an everyday part of the dining experience.

Internal Branding
Internal Branding Elements for the Restaurant
Restaurant branding extends beyond the logo and menu. The visual identity can also be carried into the interior through branded graphic elements that contribute to the overall environment.
For Trumpet Restaurant, internal branding elements formed part of the wider identity design. These applications helped extend the visual direction into the restaurant space, creating opportunities for the brand to be experienced beyond printed communication.
The objective was to maintain a relationship between the logo, menu card and interior branding, so that the different elements felt connected rather than visually unrelated.
Thoughtful internal branding gives a restaurant more ways to express its personality through design. When the visual elements share a consistent direction, they help create a more unified brand experience for guests.

05
One Brand Expression
A Connected Restaurant Branding Experience
Effective restaurant branding works across multiple touchpoints. The logo establishes recognition, the menu communicates the food offering, and internal branding elements bring the visual identity into the physical space.

Connected Experience
A Connected Restaurant Branding Experience
01One creative project
For Trumpet Restaurant, Brij Design Studio approached these elements as parts of one creative project. The music-inspired logo concept established the central visual idea, while the menu card and internal branding extended that identity into the dining environment.
02Visual consistency
This connected approach helped maintain visual consistency across the key design applications included in the project. Each element had its own function, but all contributed to the same brand expression.
03A foundation to grow
At Brij Design Studio, we believe restaurant branding should reflect the establishment's character while remaining practical across its different applications. A considered visual identity gives restaurants a foundation for building consistent communication as their brand evolves.

Our work can include restaurant logo design, visual identity development, menu card design, branded graphics and other communication elements, depending on the project's requirements.
